- The Yoga Studio Zafu sitting cushion is ideal for Zen meditation. It is ideally used for lotus or half-lotus meditation postures and is the most usable size of cushion that will support a variety of different postures.
- Our Zafu's have an Inner and Outer cover. The Inner cover which has its own zip holds all the Buckwheat hulls so that when you open the Outer cover without the Buckwheat hulls falling out and making a mess.
- There is a zip on the Inner cover which allows the user to add more filling to adjust the loft or the softness, whichever suits the user.
- Our cushion is pleated for extra durability.
- The cushion has a useful carry handle for ease of transport. A Zafu is a firm pleated crescent cushion associated with meditation.
- Ideal use for Virasana (Hero pose) by lifting the hips when sat on the cushion to help keep the spine correctly aligned. This meditation cushion can also be used to make various seated postures more comfortable.
