When Will My Order Be Dispatched?

We know how exciting it is waiting for your new crystals to arrive!

Orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday are normally dispatched the same working day.

Orders placed after 3pm, or over weekends and bank holidays, will be dispatched on the next working day.

We're delighted to offer international delivery for a flat rate of £10 per order, regardless of how many products you purchase.

We ship internationally using tracked or priority postal services, depending on your destination.

International Taxes & Customs Duties

Depending on your delivery country, your order may be subject to local VAT, import duties or customs tariffs.

We aim to make these charges as transparent as possible by calculating and collecting applicable import charges at checkout wherever our delivery arrangements support this.

Our international delivery charge remains £10. Any applicable taxes or customs duties are separate from this postage charge.

European Union Deliveries – VAT & Customs Duties

How Does VAT Work on EU Orders?

The Psychic Tree is registered under the European Union's Import One Stop Shop (IOSS) scheme.

This allows us to collect VAT on eligible orders at checkout, using the applicable VAT rate for your delivery country.

For example, customers in France, Germany, Spain and other EU countries will be charged VAT according to the relevant national rate and product classification.

The IOSS scheme generally applies to eligible orders containing goods valued at €150 or less.

For eligible IOSS orders, VAT is collected when you place your order rather than being requested again when your parcel arrives.

Why Am I Being Charged an Additional Customs Tariff?

From 1 July 2026, the European Union introduced new customs duties on lower-value goods imported from countries outside the EU, including the United Kingdom.

Previously, most parcels containing goods valued at €150 or less could enter the EU without customs duty.

Under the new regulations, a temporary customs duty of €3 applies to each different category of goods, identified by its customs tariff classification, within a qualifying consignment.

This means the duty is determined by the types of goods purchased, rather than simply the number of individual products in your order.

How Are the EU Customs Duties Calculated?

Here are some examples of how the additional duty works:

Three products with three different tariff classifications €9

For example, if you order several crystals that all share the same customs tariff classification, they would generally attract one €3 duty.

However, if you order crystals, a scented candle and jewellery, each with a different classification, the duty would generally total €9.

The actual amount is calculated according to the customs classifications of the products in your order.

Why Do We Collect These Charges at Checkout?

We understand that additional customs charges can be frustrating, particularly when you're ordering something special.

However, these duties are imposed under EU customs regulations and are not additional charges introduced by The Psychic Tree.

We collect applicable customs duties at checkout so that you can see the charges before completing your purchase.

By collecting these charges upfront, we aim to:

  • Make the total cost of your purchase clear before you order.

  • Help avoid unexpected customs bills when your parcel arrives.

  • Reduce the risk of customs delays caused by unpaid charges.

  • Make international shopping as straightforward as possible.

Our international delivery charge remains just £10. VAT and applicable customs duties are calculated separately at checkout.

What About EU Orders Over €150?

Orders exceeding €150 generally fall outside the IOSS scheme and may be subject to different customs and VAT procedures.

Depending on the delivery arrangements, additional charges may be payable to the carrier or customs authority before delivery.

Any import charges collected by us will be displayed at checkout.

USA Delivery – Import Duties & Tariffs

Delivery to the USA – Just £10

We love sending our crystals, candles and spiritual gifts across the Atlantic!

Our international delivery charge to the United States is a flat £10 per order.

Why Are US Customers Being Charged Import Tariffs?

On 29 August 2025, the United States introduced significant changes to its import regulations.

Previously, many imported orders valued at $800 or less could enter the USA without customs duties under the de minimis exemption.

This exemption has now been suspended for most commercial imports, meaning goods purchased from overseas retailers, including The Psychic Tree, may be subject to customs duties regardless of their value.

These tariffs are imposed under US customs regulations and are not additional charges introduced by The Psychic Tree.

How Are US Import Duties Calculated?

US import duties depend on several factors, including:

  • The type of products purchased.

  • The country where the products were manufactured.

  • The value of the goods.

  • The applicable US customs tariff rates.

Different products may attract different rates of duty, meaning the amount charged can vary between orders.

Why Do We Collect US Tariffs at Checkout?

We want our US customers to know what they're paying before completing their purchase.

Where applicable, import duties collected by The Psychic Tree are calculated and displayed at checkout.

By collecting these duties upfront, we aim to arrange customs clearance and minimise the likelihood of customers receiving unexpected charges when their parcels arrive in the United States.

Please remember that our £10 international delivery charge covers postage. Customs tariffs and duties are separate government-imposed charges.

We appreciate that these changes have increased the cost of shopping internationally, but we remain committed to keeping our delivery charges affordable and the process as transparent as possible.

Rest of the World – Customs & Import Taxes

For customers outside the UK, European Union and United States, local import duties, taxes or customs processing charges may apply depending on your country's regulations.

These charges vary by destination and the products purchased.

Where applicable, charges collected by The Psychic Tree will be displayed at checkout.

If any duties, taxes or handling charges are not collected at checkout, they may be payable directly to your local customs authority or delivery provider before your parcel is released.

We recommend checking your country's import regulations before ordering if you are unsure whether additional charges may apply.

Worldwide postage remains a flat £10 per order.

Important International Delivery Information

Customs Clearance

International parcels must pass through customs in the destination country.

Although we prepare the necessary customs information and aim to make the process as straightforward as possible, customs authorities may occasionally carry out additional checks.

These checks can cause delays beyond our control.

Where import duties and taxes have been prepaid through our checkout, we aim to ensure this information is passed to the relevant delivery provider.

However, any additional charges not covered by the amounts collected at checkout may remain payable by the recipient.

Restricted Products

Some products may be restricted or unavailable for delivery to certain countries due to local regulations.

Please note that BeWater Crystal Water Bottles are not currently available for delivery to EU destinations.
