Description
These Chinese coins are used as a form of divination in I Ching readings.
They can prove remarkably accurate and informative.
The I Ching reading works by throwing the Chinese Coins and building up a pattern using the way the coins fall.
Purchased individually - we would recommend buying at least 3 to be able to do the simplest I Ching readings. Coins measure 3.5cm in diameter. Please note the design on the coin can vary from the design in the pictures shown.

If you want these coins for decoration they are quite nice, although the square hole was not always neatly cut in the six I bought. But if you want them for I Ching readings then they are no good because they are massive and this means they don’t really swirl in your hand when you cast them. The website does include their size in the details so it is my fault for not reading them carefully. But they should not be advertised as appropriate for readings. I have returned them for a refund; their customer service has been quick to respond so far.
