The Storyteller's Tarot : A 78-Card Deck & Guidebook

I finally got my Tarot deck and it is so lively! The myths it encompasses, the storybeats, the merging of the representation of the cards from these stories, fables...peak. Absolute cinema. Sturdy cards, even sturdier box. Fantastic presentation.

I am relatively new to tarot reading. I am surprised how many cards just don’t have wonderful illustrations. Surely part of the reading is to do with the visuals?
As far as the suits are concerned each card is individual and not just an extra ‘coin’ (or pentacle) on a card to indicate the next one up (if you know what I mean)
These cards are beautiful and they just want you to use them and tell the stories that unfold…
For me they have been amazingly accurate and informative - this may be because I instantly resonated with them.
I love that David DePasquale (artist and creator) delved into so many different folk lores and stories, even fables to create this pack of cards.
For me, it will make each card much more memorable and easier to create a narrative whilst learning how to read them.
As well as this the cards feel good to handle and I like the size 3.5” x 5”
The Psychic Tree dispatched them quickly and they arrived in perfect condition.

Absolutely beautiful deck; though I've yet to really work with it, I can tell I'm going to enjoy using this deck. The illustrations are well-thought through and beautifully drawn. The guidebook is also lovely, with plenty of guidance and detail; I love that there's excerpts from myths / tales within there too. Overall, a really gorgeous deck that appeals to me as a lover of all things words and magic.
